Empire signs exclusive distribution agreement with The House of Marley

Empire has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with The House of Marley, an international brand with product ranges mainly within audio headphones, speakers and accessories, recognized by strong design and an earth-friendly profile. The agreement gives Empire exclusive distribution rights to all of The House of Marley’s products in the Nordic countries as well as the Baltic States.

- The House of Marley’s products have a high consumer value and a distinct environmental profile. The agreement expands our brand portfolio within a new, attractive consumer product segment, says Empire’s CEO, Per Björkman.

The products will be sold through the Empire’s existing reseller channels as well as through new ones, such as specialist outlets for fashion and mobile phones. The sales organization will be fortified with an additional Nordic sales account manager for this segment. The Nordic earphones market has grown significantly the past years. Empire aims at winning a substantial market share within two years.

– We see a potential in expanding our portfolio further with other strong brands outside the household segment where Empire already has a proven history of success stories. We have a strong track-record for reaching better sales development for the brand owners than their own sales teams, and typically to a lower cost. Earlier this year we recruited some brilliant individuals with vast product knowledge and industry experience, comments Per Björkman.

The House of Marley is an American supplier of exclusive audio headphones, audio systems and accessories with an earth-friendly and cause-minded profile. The product range includes Apple compatible on-ear and in-ear headphones, portable sound systems and speakers with a unique vintage-inspired design. The product range will also include accessories as a complement.

Earth-friendly and continuous charity donations
